I released two special single tracks. "Doubt and Regret" and "Bound". Two very different in style. "Doubt and Regret" is more my natural style, with "Bound" I tried something more hard. I call it metal-flavored. Both download-only.

After the release of Stefan Poiss latest studio album "Below The City" in May this year, THYX releasing again a special Single with Ray Koefoed "Ships To War". It is the third song collaboration between THYX and Ray Koefoed after "World Without A Sky" and "Survival Instinct".
Ray: "The "Ships to War" lyrics I have sat on for years, yet never have been able to use. I have finally found a vehicle, thanks to Stefan's talent. I only hope you will appreciate it a fraction of what I do. It is one of the most beautiful and melancholy songs I have ever heard."

THYX have announced Mai 14th as the release date for their second studio album "Below The City".
The album will be distributed in the USA via Metropolis Records and in Europe via their own THYX webstore. Pre-Order has started.

It seems that Stefan Poiss, the mastermind behind mind.in.a.box, was getting bored in his studio because now there is a second electronic music project out there penned by him. Big arrangement, sci-fi atmosphere and a very unique sound were the trademarks by mind.in.a.box and made them famous in the Gothic/Electro scene. The sideproject THYX, which was founded by Stefan Poiss in January this year, stays very electronic but gives the sound a more experimental touch without loosing the catchy tunes and atmosphere.
